Today I was led into a small white room.........and there she was.....still grubby from her travels and covered in stickers and plastic covers, but still looking like she could swallow a Fiesta whole

Apologies for the poor pics....I would blame the iPhone camera but it was probably me trembling in front of such a magnificent machine

Not a straight jacket.....Hannibal Lecter style constraints....in case I drooled all over it

Seems to have all the options I asked for which is good, only thing I couldn't physically check was adaptive damping, speed limit display and the extra phone prep stuff.

The speed limit display can be bought up in the centre of the Speedo/rev counter panel right in front of the driver, just flick through on the button L/H side stalk.

That's a good point. How can one tell that the adaptive suspension is fitted to a car? I've never driven a 3er until the one I have. Is there any config in the iDrive that's only present on cars with this option?

I didn't realise the 330D had two buttons on the end of the left stalk, I pushed it and the headlights started doing some weird things. I need to

Best way is to physically look. Swing the steering onto lock and look to see the proportional valve sticking out of the damper strut.

iDrive configuration has the two options, drivetrain and chassis, but I understand that can be there in cars without the adaptive damping.

Someone without the adaptive option may confirm what is on the iDrive menu.

Double button is for High Beam assist and OBC.

Another with a few sleepless nights.

The bottom one controls High beam assist, it's the top one does the rest.

Stunning enjoy,can't wait for your review really want to know how the Adaptive damping perfumes on uk poor roads also the M Sport Brakes how good they , as I'm stuck between this and 328i with similar options , thanks Derek
