I lust after Mineral Gray, but how hard is it to keep clean? At times it looks quite dark and ominous. I have extensive experience with silver cars, but not grays.

But it's a nasty good color. Subtle and sophisticated, yet somehow threatening.

I haven't washed mine In 2 weeks and its been through 2 snow storms and 2 rain storms...only today did I notice some water marks on the black plastic moulding; paint is still shimmery. MG is much better to maintain than black and not as plain and 2D as silver IME.

Good to hear!

What are the best interior colors for a Mineral Gray F30? Best Line? I haven't decided yet. Depends upon whether I think I need sport seats or not.

Get the M-Sport, the front bumper and steering wheel alone make it worth the extra money. IMHO black or red leather interior looks the best with mineral grey.

MG is the way to go! Looks superb on the M-Sport.

What are you getting done in the last picture? Opti-coat?

Wink (F30) Official MINERAL GREY F30 Photo Thread

A few pix of my 335i M-Sport 6MT in Mineral Grey with Aluminum Hex/Black interior.

PKG and options: Tech, Prem, Driver Assis, 403M 19" wheels, HK Sound, heated seats.

Will be adding the following M Performance parts soon:
  • Front Areo Lip
  • Rear Areo Diffuser
  • Carbon Fiber Spoiler
  • Performance Exhaust
  • Performance Suspension

For those that are curious about the ride height of the M-Sport suspension - Front sits at just under 27" and rear sits at 26-5/8". You can see measurements here:
http://www.f30post.com/forums/album.php?albumid=8119

Enjoy!

Here we go...

Full spec is:

Black Dakota leather

Media package - BMW Professional Multimedia
Visibility package
19" M light alloy wheels Star-spoke style 403 M
Adaptive M Sport suspension
Variable sport steering
Model designation deletion
Sun protection glass
Ext. mirrors - folding, auto dimming
Seat heating, front
Brushed Aluminium Trim
Internet
Telephone USB audio interface

It's absolutely very nice. And doesn't hang about either.

Oh and the E46 M3 belongs to a mate. Interesting to see how similar Steel Grey and Mineral Grey actually are.

It's similar, it's a glass coating better suited for the hard paint on the BMW's.

He has a few different glass coating products that he can use depending on the vehicle.

Oh my goodness! My car is (semi) famous!

I'll grudgingly admit that Josh's E46 M3 probably helped
