Hey I just wanted to see who on here is from Chicago and what did you get, if there is a lot of us we should organize a meet in the spring, I got 335i EBII, i have seen one EBII, and one Black 335i, and maybe couple of 328s

Hi there--expecting delivery around Xmas...sportline mineral gray 335i xDrive w/ red interior.

On the way to work I saw for the first time (F30 up close) a black 335i xDrive sportline. I was behind him the entire way and I must say the car looks damn beautiful--really excited about delivery now. I kept turning down my radio to listen to the roar of the 335 at red lights, sounds so smooth and sweet.

Last week I saw quite a few F30's in the downtown river north area, interestingly all 328 X-drives. Yet to see a 335 on the streets.

I bought mine from Irv in Barrington, I've since driven it down to Dallas, Orlando by the look of it in January.

But I am told that I was the first 6 speed F30 in Illinois!

NW Indiana here.
335i Msport, red/black, sport AT.
I think I was the first Msport in NW Indiana.

Mostly 328i's around here, mix of RWD and Xdrive, mostly Xdrive, and not sport lines. I have yet to see another Msport around here.
Lots of positive comments. Another employee where I work said, "Man, you car looks fast just sitting there. I'm sure it's fast."

Would love to do a meet up. I live in Lincoln Park. I didn't put on the front license plate. We'll see if I get a ticket, but couldn't stand the thought of defacing my new car!!!!! Question for you guys, I want to put some tint on my windows. Any recommendations of where do it, and what looks good? They won't let me post pictures on this thread yet, but when I get "permission" I'll post a few photos, would love to see who else has what out there!

i got a tint not that far from lincoln park, guy is cheap and really good , let me find my post

I am in, I really want to hear performance exhaust in person, when should we do it?

Best way to know would be to start an official dedicated thread and throw out a few tentative dates and places and then see what works best for everybody.
