2013 335i xDrive Sedan - Winter Tires with OEM 401 Style Wheels?
My 2013 BMW 335i xDrive Sedan (Sport Line, mineral white / coral red leather) is being built in South Africa. In 150 - Production Started status as of 11/26/2012.
I am considering the following winter tire setup: - Purchase a new / used set of OEM 401 style wheels. My vehicle has been ordered with 401 style wheels - Order winter tires from TireRack I am very much aware of the pros / cons about 18" vs 19" wheels for snow tires but prefer 19" wheels to maintain the original visual identity. What winter tires do you recommend? Thank you! |

Tire Rack reviews are great for this. I ended up going with the Michelin Pilot Alpin PA3's. If you plan on spending more time driving on cold asphalt with the occasional snow/ice, these are a great compromise. They don't score as high as Blizzacks on snow/ice (although they are still very highly rated), but they score better on asphalt. Here in Denver, we will get intense snow, but by the next day, the roads are cleared and dry.
