Mark, yes that's correct. Forgot to ask what stage the car is at now, whether it has got to 9650 or not (d'oh, was too excited to hear a due date!).

That's good news, obviously good for you, but also gives me hope that I'll have mine just before Christmas as well (build week next week)!

Very quick production isn't it; do most of the cars (even with a lot of options) only take 1-2 days from production start to despatch?!

Was expecting delivery tomorrow and I've just found out it's been delayed again but I don't think it should be long now as the car is currently at sea. Dealer said they are going to send their own flatbed truck to collect the cars from the docks rather than from Thorne. Car was built during WK43 so he's not sure why BMW are holding back the cars for so long.

Park Lane just phoned me to say my car has been built and should be at the docks next week.

Surprised, wasnt expecting it to be built until next week. Still strongly expecting to get me in the car before the end of the year...... we will see....!

Fingers crossed yours comes quicker than mine. Mine took 1 week to complete, when sat at Assembly Complete for about 2 weeks and then another 2 weeks at the dock waiting to be shipped. Delivery date has slipped from WK46 to WK49.

Mine has just been consigned so I guess it has also landed in Southampton.

Predicted BMW date is 13/12/2012, so we'll see when the dealer phones to say they've got the car!

I've had my F30 six weeks and 5000 miles so I thought I'd better get my order in for a new car, the F40 which of course is the F30 replacement, due for launch in 2017.
