Anyone planning to run a ZHP shift knob on the F30? - BMW 3-Series Forum (F30 / F32)

I know these weighted knobs are quite popular among BMW enthusiasts. Wondering how it would look in a Sportline.

Thoughts?

I have this on my Roadster. The one weakness I noted test driving a new 6mt F30 was how plasticy and light the stock shift knob felt.

Ok, so things are looking up for the ZHP. The M Sport models look to be identical to the coveted ZHP knob.

I'm going to interrogate a few contacts, maybe pull the trigger on a ZHP.

I am pretty sure you bought an M-Sport which means you already have this knob.

No unfortunately, I just got the Sport Line which just comes with the regular shifter.

Got my new shifter delivered last night! She's a beaut! Feels great in-hand, good weight. Can't wait to actually get my car so I can install it!

So you have confirmed that the normal ZHP knob is a direct replacement in the F30?

I've heard conflicting reports.

That's what the guy at Tuner Motorsports told me when I asked him. He said If I had any issues I can return it. We shall see. Hopefully my car will be here in 2 weeks. I'll keep you posted.

We sell the F30 M sport knob and boot. Its the ZHP knob with the correct boot and lower ring for plug and play.

We also offer it in a custom Tri-color config for those with M sport cars or just like a little touch of M in the other models

Yes you do, the boot is stitched into the bottom of the OEM knob.

Can you send me PM for just the boot without the knob? I already have the ZHP knob. Also not sure if there's a price difference for the boot with the red stitching, if so, please send me a quote for each. Thanks.
