Got Flashed in the - BMW 3-Series Forum (F30 / F32)

Lime House tunnel yesterday, I was distracted and was doing about 38MPH, do these give out fines, or could I get lucky?.

I am on a speed awareness course next week and just got another one in the post today for 57 in a 50.

Been flashed numerous times in the link though and never had anything come through.

(1) My neighbour got flashed driving his F90 series 320d station wagon in exactly the same place, 38 mph (!), 3 months ago. Two flashes.

I have a good feeling that you might be asked to go on a Speed Awareness Course if they get you. One is allowed +10% + 2-3 mph I am told over the limit. In your case, say, 36mph. So not that bad. Fingers crossed.

could be offered maybe but i live 100 miles from London.

been flashed in the link at least 3 or 4 times, last time approx 6 months ago and none have come through, others coming thick and fast though.

Had a speed awareness course approx 4 years ago and they have offered me another one for next week for 38 in a 30.

John it is very likely you will be offered the Speed Awareness Course (about 3 hours of falling asleep), you will have to pay a fine of around £100 you will NOT get any points!!

You should be fine.
