Code DVD volume?
When dvd's are played the volume is much lower. Can it be coded to force the dvd player to play it louder?

No but you can do what I do, I reburn the DVD movie using ConvertX to DVD software which allows you to boost the volume by 100%. Better to have copies in your car than the originals imo. The cause I'm told is the way the car audio system translates the 5.1 surround sound that most movies have. If the movie was in "stereo" you would find the volume was fine.
