Does anyone know if you do not choose the premium package which includes the "through loading system", do you still have the ability to fold down your back seats????

On the luxury line, you don't get the folding rear seats standard.

Couldn't you just pay the $400.00 for a special order and add through load or manual trans?

Unfortunately you won't be able to add manual transmission to the 2013 328i xDrive Sedans.

I was in the dealer today and manual transmission will be available in March 2013.

According to the dealer all 328 xdrive Classic is included.

No manuals are available for any Xdrive 328 (only 335's) because the take rate is so low and I don't think the factory will allow something like that...doesn't hurt to try...I've seen them agree to crazier things.
Through load can be ordered as a standalone option for $550 (code 465).

Even with lighting and premium packages (Hid+roof), still a very good deal. Same price I paid in for a 2005 325i RWD manual!

Folding seats come standard on a 15000$ Hyundai, WTF BMW Canada??? If they continue packaging their products like that, the is a good chance I am getting a 2014 Mazda6 wagon with diesel engine instead...

Yes and no. Freight and PDI are chargeable items and the dealer has to charge it to every car so if you buy a demo and it shows as zero dollars, it usually comes out of gross profit. That means you are losing the amount of discount you could have possibly bargained with.

Aim for a car which has been on the road longer so the dealer has “demo write down” to play with so you’ll save a greater percentage….but cuts down on your warranty

I am about to order the 328i Xdrive Classic, Should I spend $850 CAD for BMW Assist and $300 CAD for BMW Apps? I should mention that I am set on getting NAVI.

bmw apps arent worth it imo internet radio can be streamed by the aux cable and i hihgly doubt having facebook and twitter updates on your idrive is safe etc. wtc.

BMW assist is worth it. my E90 was nearly totalled and while people didnt stop to help/call 911 bmw assist kicked in almost instantaneously and contacted authority. that and when you need to go to and from the dealer they will take you around for free(from my understanding)
