Armrest

For those that haven't noticed the padded part of the console armrest slides forward to give you a more comfortable armrest.

I have it forward and almost every time I lift it open, I inadvertently press the back button with my knuckle.

I don't think I've ever moved it back since owning the car. I remember hating the armrest position on my first test drive. It felt quite uncomfortable compared to the e92... until I realised it slid foward (just like the e92).

:O Your dealers should have told u this upon delivery... I'm curious to find out how much time dealers spend with you when you pick up your car. They used to be very good ages ago goin through every detail with a new BMW customer.

The front sliding armrest is an option at £120 on the UK BMW Configurator for the M Sport. Did you specifically order yours or is it part of the BMW Oz package?

That's true. They definately should give you a decent run down if you're a new BMW customer.

Personally I just want to take my gift and the car and get out on the road and enjoy.

I know exactly what you mean.. they used to spend like an hour + with each customer, I remember when I first got my 320 e90 they did a pretty good job.

mine didnt tell me either, and said my voice control button wouldnt work because i didnt have voice control. I was happy to find out later in my own time that the arm rest moved and that I could converse with my car.

Thats the thing with new models, you learn at the same pace as the salesguys
