Still no car - Page 2 - BMW 3-Series Forum (F30 / F32)

Just reading through my Ts&Cs and there is NOTHING on cancelling an order before receiving the car

I've read all 8 docs I got sent through and there are no provisions for "You've pissed me about so much I'm cancelling my order and buying a Fiesta".

The only clause I can find anywhere is on the original order form I signed back on 15/08. That says if I cancel my "supply contract" then I'm liable to my initial rental (of nearly £2k). I'm looking because I need to threaten cancellation to get stuff moving and one must always be prepared to have one's bluff called

I'm soooo buying a Kia.

It is strange how you say they aren't helping you out!!

After posting this morning I called them and have asked them to chase leaseplan as the car is ready for delivery!

If leaseplan release the car today they have said I can have it tomorrow/late today!!

I ordered mine on 18th September

The only thing holding up my car is it physically arriving at the dealer and getting PDId. Since I've caused a fuss now (s******) then it'll be turned round asap the second it lands

They "think" it'll arrive on Monday now

To be fair, I hear that 2 cars destined for the UK were held up in BMW's quality department.

Apparently the Quality manager was heard saying something like "Nein, Estoril Blau mit Red leather???? Das is not possible, there must be a big mistake, das ist und reject!!!"

Effing public transport. This is why we own BMWs.

Had a message from the lease company saying the car will arrive at Knights on Friday this week. So I guess I'll get it some time next week

What a convoluted delivery. Never go for natural childbirth with a BMW. We are too posh to push. Lesson learnt ...... again!!!
