I am from Bay Area (norcal). My 2013 335i M sport is on its way to the East Coast from Bremerhaven right now. My car is on a boat named Dignity Ace from MOL company. Lately, I did a schedule check for this boat . On the MOL website, it shows this boat only goes to the Jacksonville, FL(Dec 02). then it leaves from U.S. to South America, and back to SA. I called my CA to check the status, and he called me last night saying that on his info sheet, my car will be docked at Oxnard by Dec 11. I am totally confused right now!! This boat is not heading to Oxnard, CA. but my CA is keep saying it is. is it possible that my car will be loaded on a truck at Jacksonville FL, and then transfer it to CA??

NEED HELP HERE!!!!

at least you know... i have no clue when my car going to get on boat. 1800 says awaiting carrier mybmw shows production begin. CA was no help, he said car start production 10/24 in a email he sent me on 10/26 after i emailed him for ETA since 1800 said production complete.

1800# is more accurate. Call your CA for your boat info as soon as ur car get loaded on the boat. CA has the most detailed info on hand.

Loaded on a truck in Jacksonville and then driven to California ??? Lmao..this is a new one. Haven't heard this one. My experience is that CA's have ZERO clue about what is happening to these orders between production & until the cars are off loaded to their local ports VPC's. In between these two points...no freaken idea...

My CA has no clue about the shipping schedule. All he knows about is the info sheet he got is showing my car will be arrive at Oxnard, CA by 12/11. That's it! He doesnt care if the boat is goint to CA or not. The car will show up at the VPC somehow.

Me and my wife leased our first BMW there at 2010. CA was nice, we were pretty happy about our first time BMW shopping experiences, and we didn't pay much attention for the price. September 2012, we went back there again to shop our next BMW, at that time we weren't sure what we wanna go for. X1, 328i, 335i were all on our list. CA showed price for all three of them with 4k down and 10k a year for 36 month. X1 3.5(MSRP $50K) is $650 a month, 328i(MSRP 50K) is $560, 335i (MSRP 55K) "over ur budget" said by CA in Fremont. I walked right after he showed me that price sheet.

wouldnt have been so bad if CA said didnt say over your budget. that is just rude. What was CA name?

It was horrible!! CA knows my budget was $550 a month with 4k down, 10k miles a year. That's why he said it was over my budget. but $650 a month for a X1 3.5??? It's way over my budget!!!That is ridiculous!!! I leased my 335i M sport for the price($550 a month) that Fremont offer me for 328i(MSRP$50K) at SJ BMW.
Plus, CA from SJ calls me every single time when I email him for some questions, not like CA from Fremont replies me back after 1 month ask me if i am ready to go back order my car again, and the reason why he emailed me back after 1 month is cuz he was busy with his "valueable" customers. I replied him as "Tks for your help! I placed my order at SJ BMW a month ago". He never replied since! lol

next time... I live in berkeley, I have one less them 1 mile away from me... didnt order there. CA was rude when I walked in and asked questions. He made me feel like he thought i couldnt afford one or something. So i didnt even bother staying. left and went else where.

U mean BMW of Berkeley??? That's why I am always ask questions online with the internet sales manager first, then go do the test drive. I have to say being an Asian has a little bit advantage now days. CA thinks u r a potential customer. My neighbor is a 20 years old college cat, his dad from China bought him an M6 and his borther a X6 M. No wounder I was treated so good at BMW(besides the price).

I was looking for a good price and spoke with someone at the Mountain View BMW, I sent over a 335 build using BMW config with an offer of 1K over invoice...he offered to give me 1.5K off MSRP...I said thanks for your help and he replied:

"You are welcome. If you decide to give me a chance to earn your business and decide to give me a little profit, let me know."

I went with these guys in the end too. The internet sales manager there was definitely easier to deal with than the other neighborhood dealerships.
