Upgrading to a F32 Coupe?
Now that some decent photos are out of the F32 coupe, it reveals itself as one serious looking machine.
Are there any F30 owners seriously considering trading up to the new coupe when it arrives next year?

Change my beautiful F30 for a less pretty car with no headroom, poor access to the rear and eBay plastic vents glued to the side?
No taa Might get a 3GT or a 4GC for my next car though ![]()

I cannot wait to see the 2 series and grande coupe. However, I don't think it will be available in 9/2014 when my lease is up.
Im also curious about the future 135i and potential m135i if it ever comes to U.S. Oh, and the diesel models are coming as well. Will be interesting. |

I ordered an F30 sport as soon as they'd take the order, but as much as I loved the car , I passed on it. Every BMW I've owned has had 2 doors & as much as it killed me, I figured I'd wait. The goofy looking vent & "sport" badge don't worry me too much. Everything is fixable and at this point nobody is sure what exactly will be on the final version of the car. Looks good so far. No kids for me,,,so 2 doors it is.

It's the 2-door version of the F30. Looks like a nice car for someone that doesn't have a family of 4 and can live with the smaller form factor. If I were a single guy, I'd want the 2-door F30. I'm married with kids, can't make it work. BJ |

if it was already out i still wouldn't get it over a 3 as i can see it having an MSRP $6-7k higher with less room for haggling (just like how it is with an A4 / A5, though there the gap is more like $4500... so it'd effectively be a difference of say $7-8k). i'm a single guy and probably the type of person this is marketed at, but maybe i'm just practical. made the same decision when i bought my current car (could have bought equivalent A5 for $5000 more or so) i've owned one coupe ever and after the first couple months you get over the hey its a coupe and looks nice effect (not to mention the 3 looks nice too) and then start realizing your trunk is small, you cant get items into the car and its a hassle when you have more than 1 person with you. i think the only reason i'd go for a coupe if making it have 2 doors made it actaully lighter / drove better say if they made a fully hardtop z4 with only 2 seats. |

i don't know if I would want to pay $5000 extra than what I paid for an 335i M-Sport, if there was no power increase, if it was around 350 HP i would consider it, but if the acceleration is same as a sedan i don't see a point in getting a smaller car that is as fast as the sedan + costs more imo, i am actually more excited about the new 2 since it might get bigger, just like the new 3 did

I'm in the "I want a sedan" camp. I may consider an M4 (boy that sounds weird) or a 911 down the road, but right now I want the best of all worlds, and the 335i fits that role superbly.

My best guess is that the 435i will see about 325hp (according to BMW). Perhaps with a nice bump to fuel economy. |

Me and my F30 are inseparable 'till June 2015, which is good for 2 reasons.
1) I love my 328i! 2) LCI time and 4GC time! I'm very excited to see the 4 Series GranCoupe! A 430d/435d/440d would be perfect! If it looks like it should.

I cant wait to see the new M3 and the 4GC. Not sure which one I'll eventually go for, but I'm holding back for these.

if the 2014 435i for example has more HP , then the 335i would have more hp. If its say 335i vs 440i then ok different engines probably (n55 vs n55hp). i absolutely expect the 428i to cost more than a 328i and give you no more power. |

Regardless if they call it 435i or 440i, it's going to have more HP. This is the easiest/best way for BMW to justify the name change and price premium over the regular 3-series sedan.

Honestly i had that feel of little panic , cause new coupe seemed sexy as hell to me )
But if we take feelings out and put in some brain work : Love its shape ! JUst love this car ! ) little 6 series it is ! There is a choice now, for me at least M135 vs M435/440 ) for the coming summer. The question is - what will be the price difference with current F30 ? if they will rise it just like they did with 6 series , sayin its all result of more "premium" and "luxurious" and other bull ***t - i give up. But if they will keep the price on E92-90 level - i will be the first costumer in local BMW Dealer to change my brand-new F30
