Kind of off topic but I am thinking about having black kidney grilles, m performance exhaust and red brakes installed once it gets here.

My question is - Are there any differences from the normal m brakes from the factory upgraded to the performance except for a red m caliper and a cross drilled and slotted rotor? Are they really worth it?

January 10th. I was offered the first day after the PC opens up after the holidays (Jan 3) but it didn't work for me. I must have just missed squeezing in right before the holidays.

Hiya,
I have a Glacier Silver M-sport 335 onboard the Poseidon Leader that just landed at Brunswick and is scheduled to arrive at Hueneme on 11/21. I recieved a really good deal on performance parts via BMW South County in San Diego, check them out, particularly their ebay listing - Allen is the parts manager. I picked up the performance exhaust, performance brakes and black out grills and will have them installed once the car get to my dealership. Just waiting on the PPK and suspension kit to come avail and i'll add that too.

Cant hardly wait. Been checking the boat and reading the forums everyday.

The Poseidon Leader just updated her AIS and has just left Brunswick, GA making way for the Panama Canal. I'll get some web cams of the canal when she gets there. The wait....ohhh the wait.

Hey man! I'm on that ship as well! I've been tracking it since it left Bremmerhaven, but it hasn't updated status in days. Actually disappeared before it got to Brunswick.

I was using marinetraffic as well. It's a funny thing though. I tracked the Poseidon Leader all the way to Brunswick until last night. Last night the system would only update to her position on 11/3 which put her in the mid-atlantic. This morning i checked and it was update to 11/10 with her pulling out of Brunswick heading south. But when I check just now it will only show last update position of 11/8. VesselFinder.com has her updated as of 11/10 she is heading to Cristobal, Panama eta 11/13. The ships IMO is 9335965 and her callsign in 7JCO. What car did you order?

Automated system says mine is in the body shop with an estimated completion date of 11/10 since sat morning.....hoping tomorrow it updates to be transported to port so i can have a slim shot at making the 11/16 boat

It took my status about 4 days to change form released to carrier to at port of exit. I assume it got there faster just the system does not update as fast. Hope we both make it on the 11/16 boat.

Wow. I guess November and December will be good sales months for BMW too. My ca called today and said the vpc has the ppk on hand so I decided to have it done. This car is gonna be fun.

the 800 number is playing games with me. it went from production scheduled to be complete 11/13 to 11/10....but my CA says her system says its still in the body shop (since friday????) and scheduled to finish production tomorrow....there went my hopes for getting on the 11/16 boat.....
