My CA is in Germany for work and I don't want to bug him, but I've been checking the phone number for a status update every day. It was listed as in the body shop yesterday (11/7), and as of today it's listed as in the paint shop. I certainly hope you're right though!

Seemed to have my options listed accurately as well. It also listed my production date as 11/8/2012.

I had a friend contact an insider at BMWNA and the response was "new Nav NOT coming in F30 for MY13".

....and we've been quoted that before! Let's see how PW45 pans out, then CY13, then before long it will be MY14 and they won't even make it clear if MY14 will get it!

Got a phone call from BMW today to say delivery is looking like the week of Christmas.

What's the chance I will get the Nav system update?

First, congrats on the new car. I don't know your odds, but it might be better than those in the US. Several sources say no US cars will get the updated Nav "this year".

Not a bad idea, but with all the "yes" and "no way" we heard from our dealers over the past 4 months, the only REAL confirmation will happen when you actually sit in your car

Hi guys,

Just to let you know (for those of us in the UK): I called BMW UK (HQ) yesterday to ask about the new iDrive, and they've confirmed it will be on all F30s from 1st November onwards (they even sent me an email confirming it in writing), and my dealer has also just confirmed that today (just ordered an F30 330d M Sport today :-).

I tried out the new system on a 330d Touring at the weekend, and it was great - very snappy, nice graphics transitions, and it also has new voice directions (better voice, more detailed)!

Mainly depends on if you subscribe to the theory than US cars PW45+ will get the new Nav at all.
