My car is status 112 right now, I'm guessing it will hit 150 any day now. Munich build, PCD delivery probably after Jan 1 though.

this coming from a guy with a SA build that should be complete 11/13 so im stuck with the mid dec boat

nope, but from the research i've done a majority of the 335's come from SA

How do you know this? How often do the boats leave frim SA?? This SA build order seems to be a complete crapshoot as far as time. I wished I had known this ahead of time. I'm having my CA do a full court press to locate something close to my build specs. Three weeks after I ordered & still no production & nobody know when it will start production???

I searched the WW website.

It could always be on a non WW ship though but that seems to be rare.

^^^ that is the exact reason I did everything to have my CA find a German build, that boat leaving mid December won't put the cars here until the end of January.

Mine completed on 10/31/12 but still hasn't shipped due to hurricane sandy... Apparently jersey's cars had to reroute to boston n baltimore so they are holding many finished products until it all gets cleared.

super random question, but when do I have to tell my CA that I don't want the front bumper to have holes for the front license plate? before production or does that happen in the US?

happens in the US the same time that they can say turn on your sirius radio. i think its at VPC.

Ask your dealer or if you have your vin number you can tell by that.

My car is on a boat I think... so it should be ready for pickup in a week or two.
Does that count as a holiday delivery?

+1 if you have the VIN or model number on the VIR,

On my VIR it shows 133Q 335i sedan - the 133Q indicates the Munich plant, whereas the code 133T indicates the SA plant in Rosslyn

Most dealers will not drill the holes in your bumper unless you tell them to. Just to be sure, talk to your CA and tell him this so there are no issues.

Now I'm just jealous. I so badly wanted a Tanzanite F31 M Sport. I just wouldn't have been content with a 328i so I ordered an EB II sedan.

I also knew I'd never see the money I'd spend on an Individual build ever again here in the US.
