Coilover and Dealership warranty

I couldn't get an answer in the technical forum but i was wondering if i will have any issues with coilovers installed and visiting the dealership. The car is a lease.

Thanks!

You shouldn't unless the coil overs are the cause of any problem. The key word is shouldn't. I would talk to the dealership.

Mods will void the warranty of whatever you're modding, simple as that. Installing coilovers will void the warranty of any suspension-related parts.

and that is all it will void. Dealers have a tendency to blame mods on parts that are totally not related

yes of course the dealers try to link it because they dont wanna pay for it, but in reality if they really didn't fix it for free, it would end up being free if you fight for it. but the mods only affect what it is surrounded by basically.. if you put a new bumper on the car, and the suspension goes out.. they arent linked. but coilovers and suspension are linked somewhat, so it can void suspension related warranties.

depends on the dealer. some dealers will blame your blown speakers due to your coils cause of the rattling or something totally irrelevant.

Some might go so far to suggest that an EPS failure is a result of aftermarket suspension parts.
