Rear Reflectors - To Change or Not to Change? - BMW 3-Series Forum (F30 / F32)

Thoughts?

Have been considering swapping the rear defelctos out for painted ones. ANyone do this on an M Sport yet? Not sure if it will look better/worse.

they're painted to match...."Dark Shadow" is the color. They're from IND - PM "Nate@IND" here on the forum or buy them online. The M Sport isn't listed so better to PM Nate first.

I just mssgd them. They can paint to body colour, but takes 48 hours. What they have in stock (as PGT stated) is the diffuser colour (Dark Shadow line). Just toying w/ what I want to do (i.e. leave them, body colour, or dark shadow line).

I like them because it's more of a safety thing and it matches the tail lights.

I'm pretty sure the light lenses are reflective as well (even whem the lights are off). Seems like a bit of overkill, no?

I prefer them matched to the diffusor, here are a few pics of mine. Further down the thread pasted below, there are some photoshops with the rear M Sport reflectors matched to the body and it doesn't quite look right to me.

Luke - are your reflectors the ones from IND? They seem darker than the diffuser? Or is that what Dark Shadow looks like (as they're not exatly the same colour as the diffuser)? Or are they Plasti-Dipped?

Yes, they are from iND, they are a perfect match- it's just an illusion in the pics.

Just wanted to update that I got the reflectors (ordered from IND). They were individually wrapped in microfiber towels (thanks! I needed some!) and then wrapped in bubble wrap. They look perfect and have the BMW markings and everything. Can't wait to install them!
