Either was I at first, I was always against them, but I think its because of the designs and the cars I always say them on (boy racers, ricers...), but having seen some on EBII with more BMW type styles, they look good. Still don't like Black on silver or black and black, but black wheels on blue, red, white look pretty sharp if done right. I am actually buying a winter set with black wheels (Breyton Race GTS 18")

With the 19s I don't find the gap that bad...the days of the original Xdrives a couple of generations ago with massive gaps have thankfully passed. Is it bigger than the 2 wheel drive, yes. If H&R or someone brings out a spring package I will think about buying it...but if it wrecks the ride I wouldn't do it.
I like the advantage of having the Xdrive for this car for snow etc...I have an M3, so I wasn't going for the last word in performance, but you may be.
