Estoril Blue II M-Sport Photo Session - BMW 3-Series Forum (F30 / F32)

Finally got the opportunity to give the car its first wax job and take some photos today. Mounted the Avante Garde 19"'s on and painted the brake calipers blue....I'm definitely loving it. Enjoy!

Hopefully we can install the M Sport Kit later on as an aftermarket solution...

TBH, we can NOW special order the 328i with the M Sport Line...the cost for the special order would be $4000 + ...

Added two more photos for ya. Just used the JEGS caliper painting kit and hand-painted them. It's very easy to do and kind of relaxing

Oh and on the wax, I use Griotts.

There's a couple of ways of doing it. The way that I did it was the most simple--the DSLR has a function that allows you to focus on a color, and then it grays out all other colors in the photo before the picture is actually taken. The other method is to use editing software (easiest is on the iPhone) that will allow you to "color" the parts that you want. The second is much more time consuming

The wheels were purchased through Mod Bargains for my previous BMW (2008 335xi Coupe), but I think they look great on this car too! They are Avant Garde Type M310 Wheels Hyper Silver. Front wheels are 19 x 8.5 / ET-3, and then the Rear Wheels are 19 x 9.5 / ET-33. I've got them matched up with Continental DW Tires (Front 235/35 ZR 19 and Rear 265/30 ZR 19).

Car looks great!

But you have the same problem I have now, when you put on wheels with more aggressive offset (and maybe even lower profile tires) the car looks like a SUV.

It takes 30s in Photoshop or any similar program that supports layers.

- Open the image in your image editor
- Duplicate the layer with the image
- Make the layer B/W
- Add a layer mask and just paint a new layer mask on what you want to "reveal" from the bottom layer. If you make some mistakes you can just switch color (white/black) and paint to hide in the layer mask.
