Will 16s fit

I am looking on buying 16s as winter tires. Will 16 fit without touching the brakes? Anything else I should consider?

Maybe, if your car has 312x24mm brake rotors.

But I say a testfit is needed.

Definitely not on a 335i Sport. Not sure if other lines or if the 328i has smaller rotors/calipers...

This.

The 320d Efficient Dynamics model over in the UK runs on 16" Style 306's so we know that a 3 series can fit 16's; however I'm not 100% sure if the size of the 320d's brakes are smaller than the 328i here in the states.

Thanks for the replies. After pricing everything out it was much cheaper to buy factory 17 take offs and I know they will fit. Now I wonder if the big brake kit will fit behind them. I have the sport line wheels for summer.

I will use the 225/45/17's that I used for my '09 335i on my F30 335i. I got them from Tire Rack and they say they will fit on the new 2013 F30. They coulda told me "no" and sold me another $1600 worth of winter wheels/tires but they said it was fine.
