I feel like the headlights / grlll of the F30 looks like a quasi-evolution of the E30. The F30 grill and headlights seem more '1-piece' sorta speaking as opposed to the E36, E46, E90 Headlight - Grill - Headlight. Not sure if my opinion is full of sht but just a thought...

No you're not. I want to like the F30, but it just looks too big and too gimmicky. I don't have Idrive in my car and love the simple dash vs. the chopped-up look of the F30 with the mandatory screen. To each his own...

I think you're exactly right and that is what I like about the design. It reminds me of the BMW's I fell in love with as a kid, the Bavaria and the 2002Tii.

Awesome. I love the new one, but it looks like the xi still sits like a Subaru.

thanks or sharing, but to truly say which one is better we need same colors and same color mods.

if you put e90335 sport there with dual exhaust in le mans blue with blacked out kidneys, im sure it would look stunning. alpine white is just eh...

Am I the only person that is confused as to why fog lights first disappeared from M cars, and now how disappeared from M-Sport cars?

Does BMW not think these vehicles are ever driven in foggy conditions? lol

All cars should have them IMO...

F30 looks better because it has blacked out grills. If you put the same grills on the E90, it looks completely different.

I like the F30 better. Besides, it uses less fuel. As for front plates, 20 years ago this rule was rarely enforced in states where front plates are required. Today, it is frequently enforced along with all sorts of petty reasons to make a stop. The cops are looking to find something else and they will make a stop for the lamest of reasons.

Wouldn't a pre-lci e90 be a better comparison since the f30 is pre-lci in a sense.

i would buy an f30 because i think it looks great but in the comparo i like the e90 better. f30 looks too big

I was on the fence about the F30 until this, looks great and so does the E90 but this put the F30 into persecutive for me.

It's nicer to look over and through than the old hump. Number one question from my friends is if it's detachable lol. The steering wheel reminds me more of the B8 S4's.
