06 Honda Civic SI
Well since I been off for the past 2 weeks, I got bored. So I email a local dealer on regard to the 2006 Civic Si with Navigation and the following option(fog lights and the OEM aerokit). I got an email this morning back and the qouted me $29000(5K markup)
. So I reply back saying a Civic for $29K was a Civic that they will never sell

That's ridiculous, word of the day.
All of the dealers in S. Florida mark up their cars for some reason, I don't get it. They marked up the TSX A-Spec package from $30,000 to $38,000.

29k for a Honda civic si? Last i check, civic is still a honda, and I can't imagine that much hype over it. Even when the e90 first came out, it was going for sticker at highest.

That's stupid, but if supply and demand is bad enough I believe some sucker will definitely pay those prices. Si is overrated, I'd just get a regular Civic coupe, look stylish and save money.

I would like to try the Si from what I have read. Sounds like a fun car. In Canada it is supposed to retail for about 25kcdn, so I don't see how an American dealer can ask 29k!

The 2006 Honda Civic SI just got Motor Trends car of the year. competition included the following models:
Audi A3, BMW 3 Series, Buick Lucerne, Cadillac DTS, Chevrolet Cobalt, Chevrolet HHR, Chevrolet Impala, Dodge Charger, Ford Fusion, Honda Civic, Hyundai Accent, Hyundai Azera, Hyundai Sonata, Infiniti M35/M45, Kia Rio, Lexus GS, Lexus IS, Lincoln Zephyr, Mazda 5, Mazda MX-5, Mercedes-Benz CLS, Mercedes-Benz R-Class, Mercury Milan, Mitsubishi Eclipse GT, Pontiac Solstice, Toyota Avalon, Volkswagen Jetta, and Volkswagen Passat. It looks like a fun car to tune if you’re into that. Lots of aftermarket parts will be available soon for this car. And many Sponsorship opportunities if you decide to go all out. But 29k seems a little too much. |

$5,000 markup for a civic si....that is ridiculous!
But then again.....Mitsubishi markups $6,000 for all their Evo VIII.....$42,000 for an Evo! Pick your poison......they must be selling them like hotcakes!
