hi all

just ordered my first bmw~
a AW 328i m sport with red interior. inc. surround view, reverse cam, and extended display.

hopefully, aug production and arrive in oct.

i'm from singapore. just want to check with you guys, have you seen this (sun visor) before ?

Can you order extended display on it's own without ordering Nav? Would you mind to let me know the cost? Thanks.

AFAIK extended display is standard on HK spec cars, at least it's fitted in all demo vehicles (328i & 335i).

Ah, it's good to know. Now I feel relived since the extended display looks much better than the standard one.

BTW, anyone know the cost of Head Up display?

$13,900+FRT. If u order HUD there'll be no doubt that u'll be getting extended display as well.

hi awhk, it cost around 4.9k (inc tax).

acutally i am quite confused. All i want is that lcd which shows information such as EcoPro. But my sales told me the stock instrument does not have it.

this should be the extended display?

I think your sales meant the Nav screen , the ipad look a like monitor...
I think every car got this eco pro lcd screen cluster as standard in F30???

Hmm... I am so confused now.

So what kind of instrument cluster does the HK cars comes with as standard? If it comes with extended display (6WA black panel display), what did rhapsody paid his $4.9k for?

i read the catalogue on page 64 again. its an optional equipment called "Instrument cluster, extended" instead of extended display. sorry for the confusion.

its said "include a high-resolution info display showing functions for the Check Control as well as navigation prompts and operational feedback. With the ECO PRO mode activated, BMW EfficientDynamics data are displayed in the rev counter."

i tot this is standard equipment for f30 in hk like the demo car. however, my sales told me it isnt.

and yea, the f30 i ordered does include variable sport steering.

But with the sport line....which should include a bit more equipment than the base model ehhh...?? or else, where did my money goes!

went to a wheel shop to quote price for Vossen CV3 19"

however, the staff told me it will stick out due to f30 requires high offsets.

My base 328i has the extended instrument cluster, so sport line should have it too !

go to BMW homepage>BMW owners>accessory finder and search for sun protection then you'll find what u want!

They changed the spec since April, so all orders from April onwards come with VSS & a corresponding price increase (which is less than when u order VSS separately as an option on pre-April orders). Also they no longer accept custom orders for base models. Another issue needs clarifying is that they seemed to have reduced the base price slightly after getting EFV frt reduction (I'm talking abt the price before subtracting $75k), so now VSS is effectively free when compared to the price charged before July. Not sure whether this applies to post-August production or whether customers can get refund for cars being delivered now (which is May production).

The problem with BMWHK is they don't list everything on the spec sheet, so the sales can only give info based on the spec sheet & the brochure. If the brochure said it's optional & the spec sheet didn't say it's standard, then they assume it's optional & will give u an option price quote.

I really don't know what comes with my car.....I just know that I will have a 2 liter turbo engine that brings me from 0-100 in 6ish second and i am quite settled and pay..........
after you guys telling me it comes with this don't come with that blablabla...i start getting worried....

phew....who cares in the end...all those gadgets are fun for first few days....by then, what you care is the beautiful shape of the car and the engine power!!! haha=)

In my mind, the best feature is the sport seat in red color!! yeah!!
Let me do a detailed review after my pick up!!
