Seeing as the EPA downgraded the 328i's MPG a little, I thought it might be a good idea to create a thread on this shiny new N20 board, tracking owners MPG progress. So err yes, tell us what you're achieving! I'll be sure to post when I get my 328i too

31.1mpg after a week of ownership, it's my wife's car, and she's driving it (like a granny).

F30 328i Modern Line, 60% highway, 40% city, mostly in sport mode

1st tank: ~24 mpg
2nd tank: 28.7 mpg
3rd tank: 28.3 mpg
4th tank: 28.7 mpg
5th tank: 29.0 mpg

Haven't kept track lately, especially after a weekend at HPDE where I used 7/8 of a tank of gas.

When I do my best, I am able to get about 27.x mpg out of the car. But in overall, when driving normal, I'm averaging 22-24 mpg on Eco-Pro thanks to the traffic here in Honolulu

Wow...I'm at 33.4 mpg...ahve about 230 miles on the car. I drive 7 miles to work on the freeway mostly.

I'm usually in Eco, but I've done a mix of sport+ and comfort as well. Waiting to breakin before I really challenge the engine.

I average about 33.5. That is mostly rural driving with speeds around 55. I recently took a trip and averaged a little over 40 with mine.

I try to stick at 92 to 93 octane. If you read the label inside the fuel lid, it says to use premium. My CA said that unlike the previous versions, that it is best to use premium because of the turbocharging.

I was reading James Martin's review of a 328i Modern (it was a shite review) and he loved it! On a long, multi-country mostly motorway tour, he achieved 55mpg with a car full of passengers and a boot full of luggage! It was the 8AT which will have helped but that is impressive! UK MPG obviously...

I always average over 30mpg, usually somewhere between 33 and 34. I have almost 5000 miles on mine.

I usually drive in Comfort mode, sometimes in ECO, rarely in Sport.

Well happy! Will be even better once it's run in and I have learnt how to drive it even more effectively! IT'S SUCH AN AWESOME CAR OMG OMG!!!
I will create a massive thread in the general section about it sometime in the upcoming week with loads of pics

But yeah, I'm very very pleased!

Shite, my 328i on its daily 30 mile (15 there, 15 back) drive is only achieving 34mpg! (UK remember). That's 50% Eco Pro and 50% Comfort but it only has 700 miles on it yet...

PA turnpike avg 70 miles per hour, air on. 100 miles all hwy. 37mpg. Amazing!

I'm on 1,100 miles in a Sportline 328i. Mostly comfort and I'm averaging 20.4 mpg. My co-worker has an A5 2.0T and gets 21 mpg. I'm imagine we have pretty similar driving styles.

The A5 is 400 lbs heavier with about 30 less hp. I'm not really understanding the delta considering all engines are subject to the same laws of physics are far as I know and the N20 is a newer engine than the 2.0T FSI.

I'm averaging 25.4 mpg. Pretty good. And that's driving it in sport mode 40% of the time and flooring it too still testing it out. I love it.
