What size rims are u going with?
What size rims are you going with? I'm having a hard time deciding between 19's and 20's. I'm thinking 20 might look a little too big but I haven't seen an f30 in person with 20's to help me decide. On the other hand, I'm afraid 19's will look too small. FYI.... I'm lowering my car.

I went with the 19" Sports Line. I heard the 20" impact ride comfort somewhat. Can't verify this myself though.

I know noone is speaking about this but I felt like just throwing it out here anyways lol.. I saw a 3er with 22" the other day (or whatever it was, it was way bigger than 20's).. I don't recommend it, at all... it looks ridiculous!

I am thinking about the same thing! however there is only 1 tire model that would fit 20" !
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/TireSe...lar=Base+Model So I am leaning towards 19"! Last edited by oedipol; 06-11-2012 at 07:15 AM. Reason: typing error |

Does anyone know the weight of the stock BMW 18" sport rims (397)?
Also, I assume the stock BMW 397s are cast wheels and not forged, but I have found some good wheels that are close to the weight of good forged wheels for my 335i.... But I really hope some one either knows the weight of the stock rims or they weight them for us once they get their new setup.... Thanks lots in advance, MXdirt ![]() P.S. My response to the OP's question would be to stay conservative for looks and comfort. stay with 19s, but go more aggressive with a wider setup of: 19x8.5/245s front & 19x9.5/285s rear. This is the F10 M5 type setup & it looks killer and handles like nothing you have ever experienced, unless you have driven a few Lambos/Ferraris like I have ( the car will be far more comfortable & look better... I never prefer a rubber band type tires, with next to no sidewall, that have to go on twenty's or larger anyway) |

I plead the 5th.

If one were to run E92 fitment on the F30, the rear wheels will be pushed out more than the front and they would have rubbing issues. I'm undecided in the 19" Vs. 20" F30 debate as well. Will need to see more of both, as well as varying wheel styles, before making up my mind. |
