Best place to buy iPhone 4 screen? - BMW 3-Series Forum (F30 / F32)

Hi guys, was wondering if anyone knew a good place online to buy iphone 4 screen replacement. I am looking at iPhone4parts.com and was wondering if it was legit or if anyone recommended a place?

I was quoted 150 at apple store, and 99 at a store kiosk nearby.

I didn't even break it, but don't feel like I can charge my friend for breaking it. it was a freak accident. I was playing soccer with pals and my phone,wallet,and car keys were in my shoe box. My friend shot the ball, hit the box, and the box flew into the air and my stuff flew out of it. My phone hit against the goal post and we all heard a loud ding. Came back and found this : <.

im in the same boat. its so easy to repair yourself but finding a screen worthwhile is hard. i purchased one off of amazon and it was dead, so they send a second free and that one also was dead.

Did you look on ebay? When I had to repair my old 3GS screen, i bought a screen and tool kit for like 6 bucks with shipping. I know the 4 screens are different, but I'd atleast start there.

4 screens with lcd go for around 26 shipped at the low. sucks you cant just reuse the LCD with a new digitizer.

Honestly, the Apple Store solution is ideal. it has an oleophobic coating on it that NONE other vendor has.

looks like that screen protector failed. I SMELL A LAWSUITTTTT,

no in all honesty, the best thing to do is get a screen from apple, its the best solution in my opinion, anything from other retailers is around $100 bucks

Apple if you're really worried about OEM quality. With ebay parts, they are not oleophobic and sometimes the screen sits too flush/not flush enough with the home button.

ifixdirect. you can even get a color conversion for around 120-130. Awesome quality. Pretty much OEM

Well the nice thing about all is for $150 they will give you a new iphone 4. I recently had some problems with my phone and they said for 150 they will replaced my old iphone 4 for a new one for $150. I would just to do that so you don't have to deal with sketchy half working iphone fixes and you get all new phone.

If you wait a day or two, there's a company with great deals on cell phones that make threads occasionally in OT.

ya I guess, problem is that I could get a new 4S for 299 i think but I was really trying to hold out for iPhone 5. xD

I have bought screens on ebay with 100% success. Just read the feedback and make 100% sure you read everything in the ad. A buddy of mine was being a cheap ass and got the cheapest one FS. Well when he got it, it was just a glass screen with no wire coming out of it for the touch screen. So you can guess, it was 100% useless.. haha

Anywho goodluck, its literally a 10 min fix for a noob. Lots of videos on youtube, so you will figure it out.
