So if the M Performance brakes are around $2300 retail then I'am guessing the M sport will be between $1600-1900 to add onto the M sport?
Also if you order your car with anything M Performance it will come installed? Such as the brakes or steering wheel? |

Unfortunately we do not have the latest iDrive in our F30s.
![]() Starting as of July 2012 production, the next generation Navigation Professional system (609) will be available on the 5 Series Sedan, 5 Series Gran Turismo, 7 Series Sedan and ActiveHybrid 3. http://www.f30post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=691510

I'm wondering with xDrive if you have to get the 19 inch wheels to get the oil cooler? Or does the oil cooler always come standard on the F30?
I had the add the 18 inch wheels on my car to get the oil cooler with the sports package. And when will the PPK be available for the F series?

If my math and my assumptions are correct, the M-Sport option for the 335i will cost $1500 more than the Sport Line -- $3200 for the M-Sport package, less the cost of the Sport Line over the base of $1700. Anybody have any other thoughts?

I'm quite excited and looking at both the 328i M Sport and 335i M Sport. You guys have pretty good pricing, not sure about us here in Canada?
Let's hope it's the same so that I can finally put my order through... ![]()

if thats tru, its a f*ckin rip off. all Msport brakes are is some color, a fixed pot in the rear and bigger rotors all around. i was thinking $1k. but ur prolly right, BMW will jack it up cause they know someone will pay. so ridiculous.

U mean on standard brakes on the M-sport? No u can't. U can retrofit the M Performance slotted discs if u have the M-sport brakes option tho (applies to 335i only if talking abt US spec).

Why don't they bring the Xi notation back? Xdrive sounds stupid when they put it into the model name. Makes it sound like an american suv. Think about it. same goes to the "sdrive"
BMW X5 4.8is or BMW X5 xDrive4.8i

I wonder if the electric motor for the active hybrid is located inside the automatic transmission in lieu of the torque converter. This is an option on that transmission. I believe it would make more sense to offer it as a light hybrid with a much shorter electric range of say one tenth of a mile. That captures most of the efficiency of braking regeneration while eliminating a large, heavy and costly battery.

The Media button change now takes place on ALL post July '13 build models, not just 3 series.
You're not going to be able to update the Nav. It specifically mentions a faster processor. Last edited by SamS; 05-15-2012 at 08:13 AM. |
