[1.fresh.f30.335]

Finally was able to make the two hour drive to Ridgefield CT to get my 335i today!!!

Let me start off by saying that, after a two hour ride and then a few miles of cruising around campus...I LOVE THIS CAR! so smooth, so powerful, and everyone has drooled over it! Since I picked it up Ive had at least 15 people walk up to me on my campus asking to look at it, sit it in, and the reaction is always the same, WOW!

most think it's an M5 from a distance then they get close and realize its an F30, which I'm pretty sure has only made people more interested... I also got asked if it was an M3, or at least an M sport, thanks BMW for making this beautifully aggressive car!

Things I noticed...
--I have the sport transmission, and I really like it. Im a manual guy, and I will admit its no manual, but its fun and keeps you engaged.

--by entering eco pro mode you automatically turn the start/stop feature back on even if you do not want it.

--The sport seats in the premium package are great IMO and I was comfortable the whole way (6'2")

I don't know, the dumpster in the background is kind of a buzzkill. You might need to take her out for a proper ocean-sunset photoshoot and update this thread.

That's why an ED is so useful, it gives you so many opportunity to have great shots

... while i could not take full advantage due to my lack of photo skills, but i tried:





such a dumpter where we were, i couldn't get a clean shot without those boats

Congrats man! Nice color combo. When I was in college I would say about 35% of the students drove some type of luxury car. My E90 was like a dime in a dozen in the parking lot ....but I do live in SoCal where a 3 series is seen as much as a Civic in most places in the US.

How was your experience at Ridgefield? I happen to live equidistant from Orange County, Pace, Mt. Kisco and Ridgefield (roughly) and although I'm not ready to make the purchase just yet, can't seem to figure out which one seems the least sleazy.

I wish I could have had it as a student, I sold my car and bought this as my graduation present to myself... I worked hard and signed my job offer in April so I had a little cash for the purchase.

I love the color and the pics! I will snap some real pics once there are a few things done to her. As for the college comments, I swear I pay for it myself on my credit... Ive been called either young rep(republican) or corporate by my friends for years because Im always working and networking!

Yup, as soon as the plates come in Im going to do either 20 all the way around or 35, haven't decided just yet.

Go to Ridgefield! ask for either Patrick Moreau, head of internet sales, Azi in finance or Ken the GM... great group of guys and Pat is one my good friends the college days. Just do what I do, tell them up front that you will a perfectionist and if things aren't done correctly then the deal is off... worked for me!

all dealers are sleezy because no one cares about 'your' car except you, so makes sure to double check everything, pull it into the service drive to check for dings and scratches, and double check all info on this site or another like it before buying the car.

That being said, Pat is an honest guy, the kind of honest where he will call you about a small hiccup in the deal just because u should know, not because you need to know...
