Is there nothing listed in the 'Settings' when you get down to SPORT Mode? (The list with speed, climate, lighting, door locks, SPORT mode, profiles, etc.)

The settings in that configuration, are the ones retrieved when the sport program is activated with the toggle switch.

Sorry to change the subject briefly, did you manage to get those decibel readings?
If not, it's fine

When you select "sport" mode, does the car remember that selection and keep it so that every time you start up you're in that mode?

Or, does it default back to "normal/comfort" each time, and you have to select sport every time?

If it's the latter, may I say how ridiculous this is!

Im pretty sure it defaults to comfort mode (there isnt a 'normal' mode, strangely enough), so yes, it is weird!

Sadly not, I had to cancel my drive yesterday after coming down with a bug. Interestingly, my SPL meter starts at 50db so I am guessing I won't be able to get an idle reading.

Not sure on mpg yet, still on my first full tank! I doubt it's great as I have being doing lots of short journeys. Will confirm when I next fill up.
