If you would like to own a E46 Convertible choose an 330i or 328 or 325i instead of the M3. Otherwise a M3 like the offered car with an unclear technical documentation could be very expensive.

There's enough E46s out there with clean histories. You just need to put in the hours and be at the right place at the right time.

For less potential worries opt for a manual M3 coupe but do feel out the clutch.

Not a great deal at all, I would take off another 11k to 12k off that asking price.

Ya they have taught me a couple of things but I need some work experience also some licensing before I could advise someone. But for some reason I think you know how to already.
