iPod Display Question - BMW 3-Series Forum (F30 / F32)

Anyone know how to get the screen to pop up to the "current playback" when I start the car? Every time I start up, it goes back to the screen where I have to choose a media device, even though my music is playing. Thanks guys.

+1, but I'm not sure you can. I tried to save it as a shortcut but it wouldn't let me.

You can set the split screen to always show the now playing info. That seems to stay put.

Thanks. Presumably this feature applies only to the full size Nav screen though?

Wierd mine does....

I have app integration so do not know if this effects it

Sometimes, my iPod starts where I last listened (and displays the song as expected), and other times, it begins on the first song / group / album, in my case, AC/DC Back in Black. When it plays AC/DC, it is back on the screen where you select the device.

My iPod is an old iPod mini with a weak battery, so that could have something to do with this behavior.

My F30 doesn't have BMW Assist, so I have a y-cable connecting the iPod to the car.

haha, that's too funny. Mine also plays AC/DC if it starts over. lol
