I hope not. Going to take a trip down the east coast in late June and want my new car. Not that anything is wrong with my old one. New smells so nice.

Yeah but you have to keep in mind that I was one of those ordering even before the official launch of the car, that really helped in getting it shipped out fast

Of course, you will have a much shorter wait time once you actually board the ship

I'm in , too. Gave deposit for 1st 2013 allocation from local dealer. Gave 2012 specs and will adjust if any new options/choices/ or reasonable pricing on M sport changes the order.

AW 335i sportline, black int/red piping/stitching, alum trim, gloss black highlight trim. 18 inch wheels
Sport auto, M adaptive susp., sport variable steering, premium, cold weather & tech packages. Sat radio. Likely will add black M perfomance front grill upon delivery.

Now the waiting begins..............

I am thinking $1500. over sport line ( $3200. total) over that, not sure its that important to me.

I could be very happy with the existing build if the M sport gets held for too high a ransom.

I wanted to get the car on an early 2013 allocation/build as my 135 lease ends in August and I do not want to sink any more money into the lease as I am buying the 335

Now lets see if BMW changes anything for 2013 ( a wood int trim option would be nice and body color mirrors) with or without the M sport so I can adjust the build if need be.

Fetco, I have the prod number. I need a prod date and the VID. Getting the prod date depends on when your dealer gets his monthly allocations. My Queens, NY dealer got his on the last week of the month. He told me he didn't get any allocations for my 335i but managed to get one from a California dealer.

Good luck on getting your vehicle swiftly. This is my second new BMW and the experience is different each time, but always loaded with drama and anticipation while waiting for one's vehicle.

Yeah, just looks like you had a wait before getting your production number also. I received an email from my CA today saying that they didn't get any allocations this month. He said that the 335 is low production and the other dealers are in the same boat. I should probably shop around to other dealers to see if they can get one, but this should give me a chance to check out the MY 2013 changes...

My CA told me that they are no longer taking any 335i orders. I doubt there will be any significant changes for MY2013 but I would suggest to try and hold a spot from now.

Yeah, I'm holding onto my MY2012 335i order. Only reason I can see for switching to a MY2013 is if there's a power bump. I'd say that's incredibly unlikely though. Just hope I actually get a production spot for a MY2012.

Should have decided to buy one a month earlier...

Dealer told me on Thursday that according to his daily printout, the production date would be another month and that BMW might push that forward but there were no guarantees.

That is really bad news to me, because i was planning a major road trip starting June 21. Also my rear brake pads on my present 2009 335i are showing that they need replacement within 1,000 miles. That means if I don't get the new car by the time of my trip I will have to schedule a PM before embarking on my trip.

I'm a little miffed that the car is being delayed this long and really wanted to break in the new one on my trip.
