Previously BMW offered it with the 335is coupe. It was code ZDM.

Hey guys I have a question that's been bothering me quite a bit now...

Is there a difference between the M Adaptive Suspension and the M Performance Suspension?

I was planning on getting the M Performance Suspension (which will lower my car) and the M Performance Brakes (in red) for my new order but I'm confused with all the wording. What's the difference between M SPORTS, M ADAPTIVE and M PERFORMANCE? They all have the letter "M" in them...

Also when will the M Performance Suspension and M Performance Brakes be available here in Canada?

on the E90 it's there but it doesn't blink if you don't have the alarm

also with the E90 you can have the car coded so the mirrors fold when you hit the lock button

You need to hold the lock button to fold them remotely.

The clown nose is still there on the mirror, but it is clear, and has no function that I can determine.

Without automatic dimming (?) of the mirror(s) you get the red nose without LED inside it. You turn the nose to dim the mirror. With automatic dimming there is no red nose unless you have an alarm.

There appears to be a hundred threads on this and in the interest of time I figured I'd throw this out there vs. reading through 500 pages.

Do you need BMW Apps for your iPhone to interface with the Nav? I'd like to save the $800 bucks since you have to add the BMW assist as well.

For the adapter I assume you can't have a case of any sort on your phone? I do like the idea of better reception via the antenna. Does anyone use pandora, etc through the phone?

I'll search a few more minutes and see if I find my answer.

This is my current understanding:

without Apps or Assist
- BT phone support is standard
- You can control/play music from iphone but need Y-cable and don't think you get album art, etc.

with BMW Assist
- You can use Apple cable only and have head unit decode MP3 files
- You get better UI and can see album art, etc.
- You can stream music via BT without a cable
- with a snap-in adapter: you can get video out from iphone and use cat antenna

with Assist and Apps
- You can use BMW apps as ric124 describes
- You can email addresses to Nav (if you have Nav)

I have a white/grey nose with red LED on my auto-dim mirror. Don't like it, was hoping for a 5-serie like solution because there is really no reason for putting such a big LED under my auto dimming rear view mirror.

But your car has an alarm? My E90 doesn't have the led thing, no alarm but auto dimming.
