I assume they drop car in Halifax and rail it to Toronto?
Can you track ship from Germany?

It travels by rail to Concord, ON. Then it goes by truck to the dealer. About 6 weeks until you get it based on my experience.

My timing was 6 weeks from production completion.

Thanks for the feedback. I was able to trace it to a boat departing BREMERHAVEN April 29 and offloading in Halifax May 9th.

I'm also in Ontario and expecting my 335i to be completing production any day now.

May I ask how you are able to track yours? I was told in Canada we don't have the website or 1-800 option.

Much of what you listed is standard equipment not options.

Options means optional equipment not standard equipment.

You get the VIN number from the dealer or by calling BMW Canada. Then you key it in to the Cargo Id field on the Wallenius Wilhelmsen tracking page.

This will tell you whether it's on a ship bound for Halifax or not. Until it shows up on this page then it will not have boarded yet. From this you can track it all the way to Halifax, at which point you're out of luck as it waits for a train and then travels by rail to Concord.

I was able to track it from the Concord VPC to the dealer when it finally showed up on the Hansen trucking company's tracking page, but I don't know if they are used for all trucking in Ontario.

Found out today car is still sitting in Halifax since May 9th. Dealer at least got Logistics at BMW Canada to put a rush for delivery out to Autoport in Halifax.

Wow 10 days from Halifax to Concord! Mine just got to Halifax today and I was hoping for 10 days to dealer.

I am super happy with the colour and wow, the drive is so silky and refined. Set it to Sport and it is a different car. Sweet. For all those still waiting, you will not be dissappointed. Cheers.
