Leave the mis-matched mirrors to Audi.
Although I agree with them making the black mirrors optional... do you really mean that you won't buy a car just because of the way that the mirrors look? Even worse... just the color of the mirrors?

That's equivalent to saying 'I don't like the chrome kidney grill so I'm not buying this BMW' when the majority of the enthusiasts swap out the kidneys for black ones right away.

It doesn't look like you were considering the F30 anyway, since just the black mirrors are enough to turn you away from the car.

if I am, not mistaken, the 335i has to be an inline 6 with a turbo-charger. I don't think it is a 4-cylinder.

Hang on... just noticed that we're not getting heated rear seats OR the rear window shade. Does BMW have something against Canadian rear seat passengers?

Or maybe it's something being held in reserve for the next model year.

They also come out with tweaks and improvements and often added standard equipment in later model years, right? Keeps the interest up.

Well I've never kept tabs so I assume that's what they would do. For us Canadian customers though I feel that the heated rear seats would have been an obvious first-year addition since they made the front heated seats standard too. But even if they aren't standard, at least they could have provided them as an option.

Heated seats are standard on the 323 now, I am sure they will come standard in the 328/335 next gen

Yes, but heated rear seats? Unless I misread they don't seem to be even offered as an option.

Really? From what I heard the tail-lights aren't LED? At least not until LCI?

328i Sports line(includes leather I believe)
Premium Package(damn..I really don't want navi but need PDC/alarm and auto-dimming mirrors)
HUD

Would probably be my ideal setup, however...I wouldn't mind the HK Sound system and rear-view camera

Im going to wait for the 320i pricing equipmnt list first. If Bmw allows navigation and xenon lights on the next gen 320i, ill def get it over 328 since its $6-$7k cheaper.
Just have a 3rd party install the xenons. My X3's nav (Canada) system cannot find Shoppers Drug Mart nor LCBO in Toronto!

hm. I'd be curious to know if a Modern Line could be switched to a black interior instead of Oyster. I much prefer the exterior of the Modern Line especially the Turbine style rims over the Luxury Line.

Yup, I prefer the Modern Line Rims compared to the Luxury Line too...Doesn't match the outlook of the car...anyway ONLY my opinion!

You can't get SurroundView in the 328i?

According to the info in this thread the park distance control is included with the premium package on the 335i for both front and rear. Some people have reported that front is an extra charge and their 335i with premium package does not have front park distance control?

Can anyone confirm if front is or is not included with premium on a 335i?

Thanks.

I responded to your other posting about this. Check the other pricing guide. I've found it to be more accurate.

Well that's what the ordering guide indicates, and so far it seems to be very accurate for other options. I ended up going with a 335i anyway, but didn't end up getting SurroundView due to the $900 price tag. I would have liked to have it though, but at the end of the day it probably wouldn't have seen much use.

Exactly why I didn't order it on my 335 either... Cool, but not $900 cool
