Not a fan of aftermarket decorations, I'd debadge instead.

I removed my 38i badge. I always remove the badging.

I am not critical of your action, but I am curious: why?

The badge is only for others; you know what car you have. Those that care will know what your car is regardless of badging; those that do not, will not care.

Then again, no badge makes it easier to wax.
