I'm about to pull the trigger on a 335. Likely going with Chapman Camelback. Just got financing approval from Navy Federal today. So while my first post may be a bit prudent, I wonder if it would make sense to also add the dealership that was purchased from to the listings of locals?

Hmmm...You had asked me where i got my car in a previous thread. I thought I sent you a PM, but maybe I didn't have enough posts at the time. Sorry about that. if you are willing to travel to the West Valley there is nice clean tint shop in Avondale, AZ right of the 10. Amazon Tint. they have tinted 3 of my BMWs and all came out great. i got 20% ceramic tints.

I probably should have, just washed on Saturday, ruined by dust storm yesterday, and noticed some nasty rock chips in the hood already. So bummed.

I placed my order 07/01, so been exactly a month. Car completed production 10 days back and since then is "on the way to the port of exit". Ordered at Camelback. Dealer promised 7 to 8 weeks time so that means latest by end of Aug.
Ordered an Alpine White 2013 335i No Lines, premium, tech,cold weather (!!) and rear camera,auto high beams.
A few questions:
1) Do you'll think it is safe to drive with summer max performance tires in AZ during the winters? I definitely don't want to get into the hassle of changing tires twice a year but won't mind swapping out the new OEM tiers for something better if at all possible.
2)I have the same question (as MalsBrownCoat) about opticoat -- any place to get this done professionally somewhere in the valley?

I'm not too sure if opticoat would protect against rock chips. Would something like Xpel Ultimate not be better at that?

you must not be a native to AZ? no cop is going to pull you over for 20% when most cars in this state have limo (5%) tint all around.

regarding your previous question, again are you from AZ? winter tires are fine all year round in the Phoenix area. now if you head up to Flagstaff in the winter and you take your car in areas where there is snow/ice then you will have a problem with summer tires.
