Good luck man, losing someone tragically like that can be hard to recover from. It's good to hear you are getting things back in line.

Never legally married, but I've lived with the same gal for the last 17 years (does that count as married?). Strangely enough, I offered to get hitched several times over the years, but she was always the one to say no. Modern liberated gal, regards marriage as a form of chattel slavery - who am I to argue.

i have been escaping the dreaded "lets get married" conversation for 6 years as the lady was too busy with her Ph.D...
she's done in a month or 2...
not sure what's coming first:
- lets get married
- lets have kids
- lets get a bigger house
- lets get a dog
- get the f away from me, it's time for me to start my real life...

not sure what i'd prefer either

im getting married on saturday the 9th of june in maui for the first time, and close on my second house on the lake the day after we get back. wish me luck.

i am 34 and single....
i think if i'd have got married in my early 20's when i was poor... i would have been really pissed when i got in my late 20's n 30s when i finally had money and could live an awesome single life...
that said, its been a fun ride
but now i got a girl that's got her claws in me

and think it will all be over soon
