Anyone else notice this?

I was cruising on the hwy in eco-pro mode and switched to sport mode with the button next to the shifter. To my surprise the car aggressively jerked and lunged forward without any warning... Wasnt graceful at all. Anyone else experience this?

yea it was talked about in another thread, the throttle changes and it downshifts (i think).

this tends to be worse (of course) with your foot on the gas. sometimes when you are applying more pressure for Eco pro and then switch to sport that is a big boost of power because you normally wouldn't have your foot down that far casually cruising in sport mode if that makes any sense.

its your foot on the throtte. lets say your foot is pressing the throttle 20% in eco, when you press it into sport, the same foot position on the throttle but the car recognizes it as 40%...if that makes sense

Send a message via AIM to mfear
Just keep your foot off the throttle when you switch and that won't happen.
