2012 NYIAS: BMW 328i xDrive Debut

On display at the BMW section of the 2012 NYIAS is the 2013 328i xDrive (AWD) in its first public showing.

The F30 3 series xDrive models will begin production with the 2013 model year which begins in July, for September delivery.

For anyone considering visiting the 2012 NYIAS, here are the models out on display:

Isn't this already a current option available? I remember seeing it in the price list..I could be mistaken though

It's imperial blue metallic. The exposure is brighter in some of the lighter colored photos.

Couldn't BMW keep it simple like before and have a 328ix or 335ix ....
it would have been plenty enough to differentiate the drive...

no need for the cheesy commercial/marketing X-Drive advertisement on the boot...

I agree. What's up with BMW and changing their nomenclature for their models? They want to change model names to further differentiate the models, fine. But why mess up with something as simple, clear and effective as using "x" to classify it as AWD?

But other than that minor issue, looks good. Liking the blue a lot.
