I have not seen the black box in the center of the bumper and the holes on the sides in other photos.

The square black box at the middle bottom of the bumper is the Active Cruise Control with Stop & Go sensor

Are you talking about the holes by the foglight ?
The foglight surrounds change according to what Line you choose and also with certain options

Ah that was my guess that it was a sensor of some sort.

I think he meant the multiple round holes next to the foglights. ( You may have to play with image brightness to see them)
As this hasnt been seen in many pictures
