Day 7: Pit-Stop in Austria, Aldstadt

Most of Tuesday was devoted to the 6 hour drive back to Munich. My one stop was this place, Rosenburger. I passed a couple of them driving through Austria on the way to Italy. It’s a very nice place to stop for a break.

I return to the ArtHotel after the long drive. It’s only two blocks away from the Hauptbahnhof, the central Munich train station. It’s a pretty good value at an off-season rate of $75.00 plus $15.00 day for parking. Ask for a room with the nice rainfall shower.

After a rest, I’m going see the Altstadt (Munich Old Town) via the Hauptbahnhof.
