Hi,

I have some questions about the iPhone media cradle --

1. Is it required to start the BMW Connected app every time before the cradle functions are available?

2. If it is not required to start the app, do I need to unlock the phone?

I'd like to be able to just take the phone out of my pocket, put it in the cradle, and go.

But, if it's required to unlock the phone and start the Connected Drive app each time, that's a lot less convenient.
