Spring install cost help!! Boston

so i got a set of H&R's for the summer and plan on throwing some struts in after the stock ones go. I've called around and all the places around the Boston area are saying it's 600 to 1400 to install SPRINGS. this isn't including the alignment either. Seems completely absurd to me because my 350z had literally the ENTIRE suspension replaced (including bushings, control arms etc.) for that cost.

is there a shop within 50 miles of Boston that will do it for like a few hundred bucks plus the alignment?? or less if that's all it takes?? all the guys from cali on this forum seem to say it's a couple hundred dollars to have springs put in so whats up with Boston????

Like the title says, I'm looking to buy a: 2008-2009 E90 or E92 M3 6MT Only w/< 25K miles and tech pkg.

Exterior colors: white, space grey, silver or black (not jerez black) only

Interior colors: black or red

Must be a 6MT, no door dings, scratches etc. Paint should be clean and as rock chip free as possible (as I will need it nice enough to clear bra the front end).

Let me know what you have. Loan is already approved, just waiting to find the right car.

Looking for Coral Red Boston leather interior or possibly black, iDrive is a plus but not needed. MANUAL transmission is a 100% must and is non negotiable. Absolutely no flappy paddles.

Low mileage is preferred.

Slightly modded is ok, e.g. wheels, BMW perf CF Spoiler etc....

Prefer shadowline trim but its not a game breaker.

I got a great deal on some used Dunlop Direzza Star Spec Z1's for the rear in 255/35/18, and I have found one used front in 225/40/18 with 8/32nd remaining as well. So I am looking for the last front tire. Therefore I am looking for one (1) Dunlop Direzza Star Spec Z1 225/40/18.

If anyone has one or knows where I can find it, please let me know.

1M hall of shame moments.

Fuel station in the wee hours. Parked, opened the fuel tank, bank card yadda-yadda. At the end of the process: "Communication Failure". Hm, nothing wrong with my bank card, so I tried again: same result. Bloody monitor. Tried another bank card terminal at the same fuel station: to no avail. Apparently the bank card network was down for an hour or so (regular network maintenance), so no electronic payment possible. Okay, no fuel then. So I drove off. Accelerated and heard some sort of thud at the right hand rear side: okay, so that is the sound of the fuel filler cap dangling around against the open fuel tank flap/door whilst driving... :sigh:

Probably a "communication failure" in my mind as, for once, the nozzle had been denied a go at the fuel tank... ;)

Black Marks on Coral Leather

I purchased a 1er with red leather and the only issue it has is black marks, seems like they are from someone putting in wheels in the car. Anyway I tried everything, even acetone and then a leather dye kit. Anyone out there who has experience with this? I am in CT...maybe a shop that can fix this? I really do not want to buy a new interior.

ER CP throttle body fitment

I put my ER charge pipe on and reused the stokc o-ring. With the C-clip on I am still able to wiggle the charge pipe around, like it is not on there very secure. Is this normal?

Planning to buy X1 but need some insights whether to get sDrive28i or xDrive28i. Which is more fun to drive? Which has a better steering feel (I like the typical BMW hard steering feel)? I read sDrive is electric and xDrive is hydraulic. Snow or mileage definitely not an issue.
